Three business units from Omexom in Germany have been awarded a joint contract to develop a new 170,000 sq. m residential area with 30 housing units in Duisburg. The project includes preparatory work, installation of the district heating system, electrical works, connection to local substations and to the grid, a new gas pipe, installation of LED lighting system.

Through the Omexom brand, VINCI Energies acquires EWE Offshore Service & Solutions GmbH, a company specialised in project development and in the operation and maintenance of offshore installations.

Since September, Omexom teams in Spain have been carrying out the renovation of the public lighting for the municipality of Abanto Zierbena, which includes 2,377 lighting points.

In May 2020, Omexom teams in Germany implemented the lighting concept for the Kamp-Lintfort Regional Garden Show 2020. The project included both the converted mine park and the path leading to the Kamp Monastery.

The Måna stadium in Drøbak in Norway literally appears in a new light, thanks to the newly installed LED floodlights.

Since 16 October, visitors and residents have been able to admire the architectural lighting of the IPRES - Institut de Prévoyance Retraite du Sénégal (Senegalese Retirement Planning Institute) - building in Dakar. The project has been carried by Omexom's Engineering teams in France, in association with LSE, a subsidiary of Sogea Satom.

The COVID-19 crisis affects the entire society and large parts of the economy. The duration of the crisis and its consequences cannot be accurately estimated today. In Ireland, Omexom's teams in France, in partnership with Omexom in the UK and RoI, have been awarded 3 photovoltaic solar power plant projects for their client Neoen, associated with BNRG.

On November 2nd, Omexom in Brazil delivered Lot 26 for Energisa which includes a 230 kV Transmission Line with 267.4 km of extension in double circuit.

Omexom teams are building a new 400 kV substation, Tovåsen, which will be built 25 km south Ånge in Gävleborg County in Sweden.
